Our clients are our friends, family and neighbors. Some were our friends before we started; some were referrals, some we didn't know. All of them are friends after we finish renovating their homes.
This is unusual in the home renovation business. Here's why:
Rebuilding your existing home to fit your dreams can be an arduous process. Matching your needs and desires with practicality and working within your budget can be complex. Even when the result is wonderful, the process can seem overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be.
We combine over 20 years of experience with effective planning and careful attention to details. We gladly invest a significant amount of time and effort in your remodeling project before we even begin construction. This extra legwork provides our clients with a clear understanding of the renovation process and gives greater confidence in our work and peace of mind throughout our relationship.
When you contact our office, we will gather some basic information about you and your project, schedule a time to meet, and ask you to create a wish list.
During our initial meeting together, we will review your wish list, determine your target investment amount, consider any structural or design challenges you may have, and give you an idea of project cost. Our first candid conversations help prevent surprises at the end of the job and ensure that we are all on board with the target investment and the end product that you desire.
At this point, we will enter into the design phase of the project. This phase consists of the following four steps:
After the architect/design team is selected, we will enter into an agreement.
Next, we will meet with the architect/design team to further discuss your ideas, and they will begin to create a space that fits your needs and target investment.
Then we will invite our subcontractors to your home to preview the scope of work which will enable us to provide you with a schematic budget. In our review of the budget, we work closely with our trade partners to ensure that you are getting the most value for your investment.
As we consider the drawings and discuss cost saving options and upgrades with the architect/design team, you will begin making your selections.
If the schematic design is consistent with your vision for your home and meets your target investment amount, we will finalize the drawings and produce a final contract.
We will present and review a final contract with you.
